MPP Singh Questions Premier on Hydro One

November 16th, 2015

MPP Singh stood in the legislature to speak on behalf of the many Ontario families, businesses and municipalities, who have spoken out against the Premier's unprecedented selloff of Hydro One - Ontario's publicly owned electricity distributor.

The Premier has made the case that by selling off shares of Hydro One, the province will be able to generate the revenue it needs to fund transit and infrastructure projects - The Liberal's have claimed that there is no other way to find the money necessary for these projects. Singh took the opportunity to question the Premier on the accuracy of this assumption, considering the Federal governments commitment and promise to fund transit and infrastructure projects in Ontario and other provinces.
